U-M College of Engineering Bicentennial Project
This was a custom-built site to showcase the College's history in honor of the Bicentennial. I implemented the front-end in React, and built out the back-end in a headless WordPress instance through ACF and the WP API.
ParkIT U-M
This app was built in Flask on top of a computer vision API that creates realtime status updates for parking lots. For the web application I implemented the live data through web sockets via Sockets.io.
I also implemented a sound-based interface to reflect lot fullness, in case a user is driving and wants to receive updates without having to look at their device.
Lights Out: A tale of disaster, and the science behind it.
Could a solar flare bring us to our knees? When the big one hits, we will only have 18 hours to prepare. This multimedia dramatization puts the situation, and the science, in perspective.
Victors Experience
For this site, I was responsible for full design and development of the front and back-end, including multiple content management systems for content and user management. The first CMS was for content management, built in PHP. A second CMS was used to help officers keep in contact with potential donors, complete with donor profiles and messages.
This site was part of a funding campaign and has since been discontinued.
MCubed
For this site, I was responsible for brand and logo design. Later converted to a Drupal template.
Breathscape
Breathscape is a mobile app that promotes meditation, relaxation, stress reduction, and sleep through deep breathing supported by auditory biofeedback. This app measures the rate of breath and generates sound in real-time. The music is also generative and algorithmic, meaning no two sessions are identical.
Our app won an award at Ann Arbor SPARK's fall bootcamp, and recently was accepted into the Transformative Tech Academy. Contact me if you'd like to participate in the beta test through TestFlight.
Congrats! Michigan Engineer
Available for iOS and Android.
This app allows the College of Engineering staff to better communicate with admitted students. Its intent is to help assist future students during the time between being accepted and when they actually arrive on campus. It features a checklist to help them track paperwork and financial aid as well as push notifications to keep them up-do-date on deadlines.
